 We are currently looking for more male and female volunteers to help us extend our service, which provides a confidential helpline for women and men who have been raped or sexually assaulted, who are survivors of childhood sexual abuse or victims of domestic abuse. We also take calls from partners, families and friends who would like information or support. The helpline is based in Swindon but receives calls from across the country. We urgently need more volunteers ... If you feel that you could listen to someone and provide support in a confidential and non-judgemental way, we would like to hear from you. Volunteers receive training, ongoing support and travelling expenses. There are also opportunities
for additional training within Victim Support. You need to be able to
offer a minimum commitment of 2 shifts per month in addition to attending
a monthly support meeting. You will need to be able to work from our
offices in Devizes.
