The Help Line provides a free and confidential service
supporting both male and female survivors of rape, childhood abuse, any
type of sexual assault and domestic violence. Trained volunteers
will listen and offer support in a non-judgmental way, no matter how long
ago the incident occurred.
We can provide information about reporting to the police and about the court process as well as information on other agencies and organisations that may be able to help, support groups, counselling, where to go for
health information regarding sexually transmitted diseases or pregnancy
tests etc.
We are happy to talk to you no matter when the rape or abuse took
place. It may have been two hours ago or 20 years ago. It doesn't matter,
we are always here to listen. We are based in Wiltshire but take calls
from elsewhere.
Currently recruiting new volunteers - 2007
The helpline is part of Victim Support.
It receives funding through charitable donations.
